I think you are wildly optimistic thinking you are going to stay up, sold your only creative player brought no-one in and don't look like winning a game anytime soon.
Clough is clearly out of his depth, your team look woeful forgetting all this debt you are cutting clough has still signed several players who don't look like making the grade. His man management is appalling, tactically he has made terrible decisions and your players don't seem to want to play for him.
Shane to see the situation at Derby, loved Clough as a player when I was a kid although his attitude to Forest since he has been up the road has tainted that somewhat.
League 1 is not plan sailing either just ask us or Leeds fans, with the financial situation at Derby I can see you lot going down and not coming back for a few years.
We are looking good at the moment not counting my chickens yet but Davies has done an amazing job with us, despite bring down to 10 men after 20 minutes we dug in today QPR were not very impressive.
To be honest I think they will just stay up, but only by way of their early season form. I think Leicester had the highest points total to go down with 52, but usually 46-47 points is enough. Given that Derby only need about 11 points, although that's as many as they got in their memorable Premiership season...
Clough certainly seems to have lost the squad, no matter what Savage says publicly. You can't keep on coming out and berating your players to the press. Fair enough the first time he did, but he got no reaction from it, which suggests they don't want to play for him. And to top it off they got comfortably beaten by both their arch-rivals within weeks of each other.
League One is no plain sailing, we struggled (although in fairness we had Megson in charge) but look at the top of the Championship now, Norwich, Swansea, Leeds, Forest, Leicester. All of whom have recently been in League One. Maybe it could be good for Derby? ;)
