True Grit - sooooo disappointing - took ages to get anywhere - ridiculously verbose dialogue - utterly pointless court scene including plenty of "Objection........sustained" nonsense (really?!) - couldn't even just let the endless wide open vistas envelope me.......er......there were none.
Jeff Bridges' Rooster Cogburn just mumbled his way through it all, which was charming for 5 minutes, and totally frustrating after that.
