Glad you got home dude.
I got home at 11ish! Met 'er indoors at Victoria, our mates had sympathy for my plight and boxed me up some of the dinner they'd made her. Cold roast chicken dinner for the win. -

Crackin goal by Yakubu
Fuck off Rooney
I am still wanking off over Rooneys goal.
-
• #29330
Nani's goal > Rooney's goal
-
• #29331
Rooneys goal was OK but not as good as 'that' goal against Arsenal or that belting volley he got against Newcastle when he was rowing with the ref and he just turned round and twatted it!!
-
• #29332
Seriously, Yakubu's goal yesterday was better. Controled on the chest then twice on the knee while turning then CRACK on the volley into the roof of the net!

Yes but you have to consider the quality of the opposition

What's that got to do with it? A good goal is still a good goal, whether Sunday League or Premiership.
If anything Yakubu's is better cos he had to turn his marker to create space, Rooney was all alone and had years to tee up the ball

league 1!! its is the new premiership...

Of course, if Rooney hadn't left Everton.....

Yes it was a good goal. But. He should never have been given the time or space to do that. As with Rooney.
Both goals were bettered in their respective matches by King's and Nani's.
With King's goal you can clearly see that Savage didn't follow him and left Addison against two.
Both of my favoured goals featured quick decisive passing and good movement.

Fair do's
I agree, Nani's goal was better than Rooney's
Even Beckfords last week against Blackpool was equally as good and technically better executed

The thing is though, Rooney's the blue eyed boy so even a 2yd tap in and the media get their cocks out
-
• #29342
Rooney has blue eyes?
Forever a blue, eh?

City may be the richest club in the world but they still suffer from overheads

Yakubu should never have received the ball. We had a chance to clear and instead of smashing it to the half way line orputting it in row z, Davies it's a high one to the edge of the D so Leicester can continue their attack.
Second goal we were playing our favourite game, statues. As soon as Barker was drawn forward and out of position we were screwed.
Second half we only contained them because they were sitting on a two goal cushion. They had the look of a team that could hurt us at any time. We had the look of a team scared of touching the ball in case we made a mistake.
Board out? I don't think so
Clough out? No he has a remit and he is working to it
Scrollback to the summer and our objectives this year were to avoid relegation and cut the debts. We will stay up and the debts are down by more than 10 million. Once we are debt free we can afford to pay higher wages and get talent through the doors before then, where's the money gone? Davies and Jewell spent it on crap that never pulled on a shirt and left us without two pennies to rub together. We made the mistake of getting to the lofty heights of 4th place and generated unreal expectations about the remainder of the season. Reality check, lower mid table obscurity and a firmer financial footing.
Reality check 2. Davies will spunk every penny he can at Forest and only finish 7th. [/compulsory dig]

Ramaye, what does our debt stand at?
I had visions of 40+ when the triumvirate of crooks owned us?
Are we down to 20 mill yet?

Down from 31 to 15.
Wages from 23 to 11.5, that's good to read. -

You won't be able to afford an £11m wage bill when you're in league one.
seriously Damo Clough will be on his way soon. Somewhere there is a garden with Di Matteo hurrying around planting bulbs for spring. He needs help. You can't be shit then given time and be good only to be shit again. Sack him now and you could get RDM and that's a win win situation.
Sounds like the worse possible scenario yesterday, well done lads for sorting that out.
