if I may, brilliantly argued, as one would expect.intellectual appreciation of the films within the art form.
what it lacks is anything about the clarity of what they bring onto the screen, in perfectionist, defined cine-colour immersion, what marks the difference- the qualities of immersion in the period or milieu where they are set .
