This is a mock up of what I intend to do to my dad's 1960s Falcon San Remo. The frame and forks are currently stripped and on route to be rechromed but I intend to restore the bike to its original colours once I get it back. While the frame is away, I've got some cleaning to do to the old components it had on it but I am pleased with how the new San Marco saddle and matching handlebar grips are going to look with the ebay wheels I bought.

That looks pretty messed up what are those rims meant to be 1960's baby blue deep v's? Surely low profile period rims? If your going to the effort of re chroming , polishing period parts etc get period saddle , wheels blah blah my 2p your bike so whatever... If you enjoy it my comments are worth poo....
