No doubt, but based on last years financial results only 4 prem teams would be allowed in. And the only one of them likely to make it is Arsenal. Manu, City, Spurs and Chelsea would be out on their ear, as of course would Barca and Real Madrid, and probably all Italian clubs.

This is not right. As long as your expenditure does not vastly outweigh your turnover, then teams will be okay. That only really means that City and Chelsea will get banned. Abramovich is trying to get around this by setting up his handouts through a company as if they are long term loans which will get repaid. Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool will all be fine. United will be okay as their turnover is large enough to service their debt.
