  • thanks, i think....

ordered yesterday, arrived today...thats snappy service from tokyo fixed gear! good stuff...

ill get her built up and a pic up - pretty cool frame indeed.

  • Lacks chain.

  • Amazon, tut tut

    Save the high street

  • To me it looks like a BMX frame with the wrong wheels in.

  • Hah!

    *hopingthatjoshdidnotseehismonstrousbmw

  • We've just done a super cool Gangsta V2 build in the shop. Raw short with a Shimano Coaster hub. Its ace.

  • Here it is...

  • needs orange cranks and rims and it would be a mongoose maurice!

    (ducks and covers)

  • better off with one of these.
exactly the same sit up and beg riding position.
    no toe overlap
    a basket
    cheaper
    lighter
    less nickable
lighter wheels so 'nippier in town'

  • They have been around in the mtb, freeride and bmx scene for a good for years i think, with pretty good reputation.

  • Here it is...

The supercompactness of those smaller frames looks quite anti to me.

  • like the coaster build!...

mine got a new front wheel and some commuter add ons...not quite as urbane, but pretty damn good commuting vehicle...

tokyo fixed gear have been ace to deal with...thank you!

  • what saddle is that?

  • san marco magmaa....magnesium alloy base tends to snap across the saddle just where the nose starts to widen out to the rear....good other than that....

  • Really want the white V2... * le sigh *

  • Really cannot wait for the original V1 fork with canti mount.

  • drjon, what brake is that you're running?

  • In case folks interested in the gangsta, but like the original fork haven't spotted this, there's an original cluster fork going for £75 in the for sale forum:

    https://www.lfgss.com/thread57539.html#post1924416

  • its a shimano r650 ....longish 57mm reach shimano. drilled out rear of cluster fork to take the sunken allen nut but had to use the long version. pretty reasonable brake, though a paul racer would have been nicerer....

  • Short video interview with Joe Avedisian -

    http://mediadefrag.jp/people/profile037josephavedisian/

  • Really cannot wait for the original V1 fork with canti mount.

are you still waiting for the fork? pictures? custom made? price?

  • I'm still waiting, it have to be custom because I specced for a clearcoated raw fork with canti mount, which mean I'll have to wait for a while till BMW get more fork end/plate for their fork.

  • ok. and the price? if it's nothing for here, then please via message.

  • anyone selling/ know anyone who is selling a gangsta? either v1 or v2, dont care.

    preferably a 40cm

    cheers :)
