Dawes Junior Kingpin (cannot find a picture of the Junior): my first bike in 1970, gold frame, single speed, did not fold despite the name. Bomb proof quality bike, rode it like a BMX and MTB before either were invented, took anything thrown at it including 'backies' for my mates. Grew out of it eventually.
2nd hand Hercules Hustler, just like the above: boys 3-speed 'racer' with drops, superb unappreciated Chopper killer, wanted a 10-speed. Rammed from behind by car 1976, lived on with new back wheel, rode into back of parked van circa 1977, lived on with new forks then sold on to be unappreciated by another youngster.
Viscount Aerospace 10-speed racer, rode it round the Peak District, killed it with neglect.
Dawes Windsor, budget hi tensile frame version of galaxy, loved it, stolen from shed in Essex mid 1980s.
