i have nothing further to add to this debate, other than to reinforce the previously stated opinion that that fucking frog song makes me want to go outdoors and kick a down syndrome child.

The clue is in the word 'political'.
I am disappointed. I thought everyone knew. I thought we were all together in this knowledge. :)

Oliver, I fucking love that song and video! I had a Rupert the Bear video as a kid that featured this and I watched it over and over and over and over again. The sound of this gives me goosebumps. There's an owl in the extended video/story that used to terrify me and is part of the reason I've become obsessed with owls. Thanks for posting :-)

I have the Frog Song special edition on VHS. Contains a Rupert the Bear story encompassing the song, plus two other songs from Wings, Oriental Starfish (sun by Linda McCartney) and Seaside Woman.

Last time David and I were all in it together we were on a guided sex tourist trip of the far east.
He sported a moustache for this particular trip. It did not suit him.

Bugger, it's been redubbed. I thought Rupert didn't have such a posh voice. Anyway, enjoy the owl, SP!

This is the one I had! Seaside Woman is a kind of weird calypso or reggae one right? Amazing.

I agree with Oliver, and am making a stand in the context of my own life. I'm not sure there's much else I can do.

Well, well, if that isn't a good start. One of the main things that's been annoying me lately is this mendacious subversion of the language of solidarity that's been going on. Plus, it's really high time to post The Frog Chorus.
