My car is bust at the moment- so I am tempted to say fuck'em.
However to answer your question properly- the only thing that is going to change drivers behaviour (not attitude, I agree) is fining them, over and over again if needed.
If cyclists got a fine every time they jumped a red I would imagine they'd stop doing it.
