  • I'm in the market for a GPS, but ideally one that will just track where I've been. I don't really need one to navigate by, directions written on scraps of paper, or other people's knowledge will suffice for the time being. So, does such a product exist, and are they substantially cheaper than one that will allow me to navigate (give maps, directions etc)?

  • There are a few GPS data taggers available. I've never used one.

  • How disastrous will the forthcoming Dallas remake be?

  • Can you bump start a car in reverse?

Yes, but don't push it forward (look: Dammit's thread).

  • How do you change your user name?

Contact Velocio. Choose your acronym. Sorted.

  • I wish I chose a multi user name so I could join the trend bandwagon...

Garmin Edge 500 does this, for about £150. It has the virtues of being compact, plug-and-play, and easy to sell on to other cyclists if you decide you need something more/different later.

    BE..

  • Forerunner 305 does it for about £100, and is also useful for running.
