The Chrina's quite narrow, 13mm, so I don't know if 28s are a great idea. Open Sports are 15mm, they'd be fine. Sputniks are 19mm.

anyone tried these American Classic 420 wheels?
http://www.tredz.co.uk/.American%20Classic-420-Track-Wheelset_27348.htm
They have a claimed weight of 1585 grams for the pair, which seems very good. -

I really like the look of these. Nice weight weenie wheels, with decent stiffness, and some aero-ish-ness.
The original AM 420 road wheels were named after the weight of the rims, which were an impressive 420g for a 34mm deep alu rim. AM then increased the weight of their rims (probs to toughen them, but I'm not sure), but kept the name. So I suspect the listed 420g rim weight is wrong. With this weight increase, and the improvements AM have made to there hubs. They should be a solid wheelset. The bladed spokes being a real bonus.
24/20 spoke lacing and rims with thin braking surfaces, dont exactly scream commuting wheels to me though.

Did you check for sharps when you repaired the first one?
New tyre = better at holding onto penetrating objects.

As long as you compost her. I'm cool with it.
I'd be running 28's, but the Chrina may be where to go I guess. Can't run more than a 28 on a pompino allegedly!
