  • i got a brake caliper and lever you can have max.

    youbinscobled

Tempting, but I don't have a fork with a hole in it or a front wheel I want to brake on.

  • if you want tyres to gasp, shock last years, just don't skid.

    Who wants last year's tyres?

  • a tyre a month?

  • epic

  • This, mon frere, isn't possible for everyone... I still go through a tyre a month.

You skid because you're riding brakeless you muppet!

    Ed's right.

Let me buy a tyre a month so that I can look cool and ride a bike with no visible braking equipment (I still think skidding is lame).

  • Sorry if this has been said before, but does anyone have any good tips for getting randonneur's off the rim? I've been trying for ages, but I'm obvs barking up the proverbial wrong tree!

  • With a tyre lever ??

  • With a hammer ??

  • Anyone doing these cheap....ish in London, without the metallic strip?

  • Tried Condor?

  • My rando is showing pink, before i order another, has anyone come accross and even more durable tyre I could try?

  • durano plus
    maxxi refuse

  • Just buy Maxxis Refuse. I did extensive research, and testing, and they're just the best tyre going.

  • Unless the duranos last twice as long I can't see the point, might try a refuse.

  • balls!! wiggle have just put the price up to over 16 quid. b@skets!!

tight cnut, prefered the 13 quid delivered

  • I've got a nearly new pair of 700x28's if anyone wants them, £15 picked up from Shoreditch? One has done about 20 miles, the other about 200. They actually measure up closer to 25's though.

PM me if you want them.
