Just finished skulking in the shadows- now in the nursery! This is my first post. Don't live in London. Toured the Lake District on a fixed wheel JRJ- that's a Bob Jackson- long, long time ago. Love reading posts- admiring member's RAD bikes. Regards to all, Billy

Hi, found the forum whilst googling 'L'eroica on fixed'. I don't live anywhere near London, in fact living in Stornoway, I probably live as far away from the city as it's possible to get in Britain (barring Shetland).

Originally from Stafford, I started cycling with Stafford Road Club as far back as 1973. I'm now approaching '50' very quickly, and have rode fixed since I was a teenager, racing on the track a a member of VC Europa (and later Halesowen) between 1977 and 1981. I've had a fixie in my collection ever since.

Currently I own 4 bikes - 2 geared (an aravis audax, a Trek MTB) and 2 fixed (a 1970s Bob Jackson and a re-badged 1977 Team Raleigh)
