Yesterday morning...
A girl with long black hair on a turquoise bike with pink decals pulling an effortless no hands track stand at the lights on Old Kent Road. Another girl gliding along Borough High Street, all in black with black curly hair. A good day.
Me; not looking so cool trying to get to work on time. How rude of me to not say hello. -

Some guy on a cream 'fixie' coming up Holland Park / Notting Hill Gate this morning being a dick. Tailgating cyclists / cutting red lights / undertaking cars & other cyclists. Cunt.
I then spotted him at Queensway with his ultraslack[TM] chain in a heap around his bottom bracket.
/Karma.

Had my own fail this morning. Got a spasm in my neck so went no-handed to shake my shoulders out. Wind took front wheel and I ate the tarmac in the blink of an eye, right in the middle of a west end rat race so a pavement full of audience. Thankfully road empty though so only pride and wrists hurt.

Guy in a leather cowboy hat on an amazing looking Penny Farthing on Kings Road wobbling quite slowly into the wind. Dark purple with gold anodised components throughout.

Hopefully you're OK too.
I ride no-handed too much so a good lesson for me.

Those titanium bikes, far too light for their own good.

The last time it was windy (and it was wet too) I got blown into the kerb going down Pentonville Road. Managed to unclip and land on my feet on the pavement, and catch the bike. Not sure how, I was convinced I was going to go head-first onto the asphalt. Wind, WAC.
ah yeah, morning, i do recall, and have seen you round there before. will say hello next time dude.
