My French is not great but isn't there a devious anti British sentiment in that song?
Dunno but I had a quick scan of the translation and it mentioned Sean Kelly. Win! To be sure!

Got it. Thanks Piccoloboyke
I'm not sure if that song is on the "Now Belgium" that was played all week ... this was YouTube - Duck Sauce - Barbra Streisand (Radio Mix) @ 320kbps + Download Link
(you will recognise it from about 45sec in) -

The Berlin 6 was actually mentioned in a Metro (Tube commuter scum) paper as somewhere to visit.
I've been meaning to send you a scan. -

Felt weird saying "is that the REAL Devil though?"...great event, considering Tilburg later in the year. Pics of Tomity, who we bumped into on the blog: http://www.rollapaluza.com/blog/

Or 3 as that's all I can manage. A club mate has proposed a jolly over the water to take in the aforementioned. Just looking for the gen from people who have been there and done that.
Is it worth the trip? although having visited Belgium before I'm aware they do a nice beer.:) Just need a push to book something tbh.

Ghent is lovely. Went in 2008 for I Love Techno festival. Nutty little place!

Gosh, is Gent Six Day racing still going? Went there in the 1960's, had a great time though the town was a little sleazy. That was the first time that I saw a policeman with a gun, he didn't get it out of the holster, just sort of rested his hand on it. It was 2 in the morning and we were a little noisy

Gent is definitely worth a visit, it has all the charms of Bruges without the disneyfication and remains a living and working city.
The 6 day is great to go to; loads of racing, entertainment and the chance to rub shoulders with legends of cycling (we pushed past Eddy Merckx once to get to the bar!). Personally I'd recommend you book seats as the track centre is fun for a bit but it makes you dizzy and, if you've been on the beer all day (and you probably will have been) it's a recipe for disaster!

Who's riding there? Two friends and I are going and they're flouncing out of the ride and want to train it the whole way! I need to convince them that riding there is the answer... or at least part of the way!

Riding in Belgium in November, that'll be fun. And cold. And wet. Any maybe even snowy.
