This just turned up for under £100, don't really need it, but my size, and ready to go... be silly not to. Suntour Superb Pro Hubs to Rigida rims and Full Shimano RX100 groupset. May need to invest the money i've saved into some paint and decals though, or maybe a clearcoat. I presume its a GT edge frame, so fairly simple decals to find unless anyone knows better? -

Dude somebody just posted your bike in the anti-porn
At last. My work here is done ;)
Edit... don't see it in there.
The antlers are off for now (only going on for TT's & a bit of training ahead of them), and it looks fairly normal apart from the colour mismatch yellow / purple. No-one vommed over it at last nights ride.

I'll tell you how it rides when I get a chance, it's not turned a wheel in anger yet.
Yeah, I love it.
Nice sharp, serious feel to it. Ride is amazing (although I'm sure the tyres are playing their part). Stiff but not remotely harsh. It's light as well - that wasn't an aim, particularly, but the rear end especially feels so light when you pick it up. At least, compared to all the other bikes I've owned...
@ Sumo, I only did eight miles or so but the Zoncolan feels pretty good. Stiff but no discomfort. I was thinking the front might be a bit uncomfortable (it bulges up a bit) but if anything it felt like it could take being tilted back a touch. Of course, it'll take a much longer ride to discover what it's really like but I'll stick with it for the time being.

Can't contain excitement so you'll have to have the crappy phonepics for now until I get my camera fixed. Here is the Fort though.

Going to flip the middle section of the ergostem and i might get nother stem with some risers depending on mood.
-
• #40092
Rather Anti mish mash of components on there.
Brooks, Ergo stem, green hubs, overly large plate ring, overly long valve tubes, skinny forks with oversized main tubes...
I think its pretty ugly :-( Sorry
-
• #40093
Yeah the valves are a nuisance, left the wheels with the lbs to throw everything together and they put those on, going to change them in a while but for now they're fine. The rest I like though. The hubs match the saddle and the Shimano Zen ring is massive porn. Bit of a Cannondale rip off with the NJS forks on Alu frame.
-
• #40094
Change the stem and get matching wheels and it'll be nice.
-
• #40095
Hmm, yeah I bought the rims ages ago and kind of wish I'd just gotten two Deep Vs.
-
• #40096
Stem flip is a massive improvement. Needs a link out of the chain too, bring in the back end a bit. I might build some Level x H+Son TB14 wheels for it eventually.

Sumo didn't like it, so change it.

the drop on them is massive, it looks stupid.
Rod got it spot on, I never tried drum brakes with different brake levers, but assumed the modulation would be different.
stick to long levers, it's nice and easy.
