  • They're not as 'direct' as other brake, but it's very reliable in all weather condition and easy to look after.

    I rode with one for a while, with both front and rear brake, they work perfectly fine, but if you rode with a front only singlespeed, you'll find that it may take a while to slow down (the modulation can be adjusted, but if you set it very responsive - it won't spin that smoothly).

    I'd be riding it fixed, but I'd be worried that if they're not as direct, they perhaps wouldn't be suitable for emergency braking?
    When you say that if adjusted they won't spin as smoothly, do you mean that the brake will jerk on and off??
