• Personally I'm against the charitification of everything...

    Love the tweed run, and if you ask for money to help organise, pay for stuff all well and good.
    Just tired of everything that I find enjoyable asking me for a little cash to give to someone else, somewhere else. I don't doubt the charity will be more than deserving of whatever people give, but I've felt for a while that why we do things shouldn't be defined by how much we can do for charity.

    Can't we just have fun without it having to do something/mean something more?

    Will it make it more fun to have an entrance fee which goes to a charity or will it make you feel good and kind and benevolent. I'd rather just have fun on the bike, wearing tweed and being gentlemanly for an afternoon...
