Hell no brah. Hell no :-)

Fixed for town, free for longer rides. Comfy geometry with wider tyres for a silky ride. Lethal composition for purists.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/8772455@N05/It's so nice, and perfect but those rims need low flange DA hubs !
Yes I know the high flange match the 7600 cranks, but if you insist on using square taper cranks & modern carbon rims, you've gotta break the mould somewhere :-)

noooo nooo, these hubs are impossible to find, and the rear is spaced for a 110 axle, the bottom bracket and the headset are all Dura ace too so had to keep the mould rather than break it, i think it makes it all tie in alot nicer

-
• #39759
Bars look like Nitto B123AA, chainring is a Sugino Zen. Not sure about the rims...

Armourtex are stripping it for me so I can see what the finish is like. I'll leave it if I like it or ill polish like either Gabes Cannondale or Pisti's very own concept.
are they blasting it?
could come up nice either way, blasted will be a dull grey which could look nice with a matt clearcoat. If it is blasted it will take ages to polish.
and best not done at a polishers because of the thickness of the tubing after blasting. -

I don't think the bars are deep enough for 123s, probably 125s then... cheers for chainring though!

saving the rear rim, when the front gets ruined, just swap/re-build :)

Might be, although the flats at the bottom look too long for a 125AA.

the rims are BrobyCarbon C60 carbon rims, http://www.tokyofixedgear.com/shopexd.asp?id=3087
and to clear up the bars are Nitto - ADB-X Bars

Hah, so they are. Every angle it's shot from disguises the kinks.

The Viking is pretty much done now.Lastly though, I have an open pro rim and a choice of an SA geared hub or a mailard 6speed hub to build it onto. what do you reckon?
mallard 6 speeds would be a good choice, especially paired with a maillard freewheel and simplex super LJ derailleur.
while internal hubs are great, the reliablity of the simplex and maillard is pretty good with smooth shifting (yes, simplex, but with the LJ).

Going to stick with Risers for my Pro Winner. I've shimmed it to hell with bits of coke can and it seems to be holding. Had a really nice ride around town today, apart from putting the wrong sprocket on and having to push a massive gear. Back to my nice 49x19 now.

Mine never turned up.
The seller ripped me off, no stem, and paypal won't get involved, because it was UK -> Germany payment :-(

is this the one I was suppose to help with?

370 each rim?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
how much is the total for the whole bike?

I don't trust full carbon clinchers

yet couldn't spare the extra cash for a hardshell instead of regular gatorskin.
Fly- it's looking better. Get some nice silver mudguards on it to fill the clearances. -
