Blue Fleet, I guess you might nip round the South Circular to check out some hills before the event.. If you can get up Sydenham Hill opposite the Horniman Museum riding fixed, then you are a God. The choice of bike is down to which one you are prepared to leave outside while you watch the Paris-Roubaix in the Alma. Last year, no one was holding their bike in the bar whilst watching, which is why I will not be riding my blue one.
