Have you seen any examples of those bars taped? well? because of the rounded ends, i think it can be problematic, not that i've tried yet. I wondered whether grips might work better as it's 2mm step down, but it so long that it would need one and a cut one to meet the step,if properly cut and glued it might be ok. Need to find someone who's done either successfully.
