Living in China means there isn't much on the box so I get through quite a few series pretty quickly. Some obvious choices have been mentioned, Sopranos and The Wire to name but two. I'd recommend The first couple seasons of Entourage purely for Jermey Piven's outbursts as Ari Gold, Hollywood's most obnoxious agent.
