I think there was a fair turnout, some tri types. Brilliant if you want to observe some very square pedaling and too high saddles.

My personal view is that unless there is a very decent call for the road bike session, that track time is so precious it should be exclusively track bikes only, there's a whole road network and a few closed road circuits for people wanting to ride road. It's not like there's velodromes everywhere.

There aren't any other closed road circuits within a realistic cycling distance. I think one night a week is fine - I don't think there is demand for any other popular sessions to fill the slot. The session will probably run next year - dependent on someone volunteering their time.
