Bluequinn and matty:
True, true, maybe I got out of bed the wrong side this morning. But it should probably do what it says on the tin like.
edit: In fact fuck it, I'll shut up. Wish I was in bed.

happy to swap my Boss TU-12 for the Boss TU-3 if anyone's up for that...
Hmmm. Quite tempting. I'm all about the acoustic these days so hardly ever use my TU-3 stage tuner... Maybeeee
Don't know much about fuzz. I know the name is terrible but there's a guy called "gearmandude" on youtube who does very good pedal reviews. They tend to be quite well produced, very comprehensive and balanced. He's done side by sides of different flavours of fuzzface, big muff etc. Well worth checking out before a purchase i'd say.

Do it! A1 condition, looks unused... :]
It's the old skool one...

Nope, can't justify it man. Sorry, was just thinking about how i'd manage next time I play electric without that handy "off" pedal. It doesn't happen that often any more but when it does I know i'll regret it. Soz!
Apparently the Peterson Strobostomp is very popular these days too. EDIT: and about £180! Ouch.

You can have a lend if you need it this week or whatever.

S'alright, I'm only kidding... ;]
Just thinking ahead, need a boost pedal more than I do a new tuner tbh...

i know! you're still welcome to borrow though!
I use one of these for clean boost (the overdrive sound is lousy but the clean boost option is great). it's fab for that actually. if you're cleanclean it just boosts volume. If you're a bit more edgy it pushes the amp into a nice natural overdrive. And if you're already overdriven or you use it in front of another mild overdrive like a TS9 or something it gets great singing feedy backy sustain but without too much distortion.
cheep too (about £45). for some reason clean boosts tend to be stupidly expensive. That's the set up i've used for years. One of these on clean boost into a tubescreamer into a small ish tube amp. Still haven't found a combination that gives me a better range of useable and tweakable levels of drive.

I've still got my MkI Guv'nor knocking around somewhere but that's falling apart and a bit too heavy duty for what I need... The MXR Micro Amp is worth a look if you've never tried it before, my mate Rick who works on Guitar magazine lent me his and I kept it for years... Was really sad to give it back, really natural sounding...
BITD I rigged up my Twin as a three channel amp... Splitter box so you can run left (clean) and right (dirty) side then I used an Ice Cube to bypass the Reverb tube that gives you an extra gain stage instead of reverb/trem, the reverb pot then controls how much (natural valve!!) distortion you get... Quite full on Boogie-ish overdrive but used sparingly it sounds awesome... Fun set-up with the right guitar... :]

Sweet frankentwin!
I look forward to headbanging with my baldy narrow head in a bassbin at your first gig.

Looks fantastic! :]

Dunnit!
What's not to like?! Day off work to go messing about on a boat with a couple of mates, play some bone-head rock music, have burgers for lunch and even get paid for the pleasure.
Woo and indeed hoo!

Joe I've got an old Rat pedal kicking around if you want to borrow it.
Also got a Danelectro stage tuner. -
• #891
Cheers, Tim... I hate Rats tho', could never get a decent sound out of them, I'll make do with my tuner for now...

Rats to you then, 'slain.

in my day we called them 'dooverisers' on account of them making yer guitar go 'doov'.
dont know if there's a 'dookseriser'. there should be. -

They always sounded too synthetic to me, my old bandmate swore by them but they just didn't agree with my ears... It's obviously a taste thing... i.e. I've got better taste than you... ;P

I've got a Washburn MX1 distortion which you are welcome to.
I've not tested it for a very long time. I know the jacks are falling to bits as the plastic is too brittle. You could solder new ones in. My 16 year old self just put the jigsaw puzzle back together and used lots of Selotape round them. -

Just got this a while ago and thought I'd share a pic. The P-90's are tone monsters!

Beautiful... A friend has a '59 dot-neck in the same colour, seriously one of the most gorgeous guitars I've ever had the pleasure of playing, P90s are indeed the awesome... You're a lucky (wo)man... :]

Yup, my K14 is an 'O' scale guitar... Folk/parlour size...
How do you like it? Played a 30's Gibby L00 the other day and love it. Am looking for a KG-14 as they are basically the same (apart from the bracing).
I need a fuzzbox, all my Tonebenders need to go to the menders so I'm looking for either a full-on Tonebender-a-like or an MXR micro amp... I know that doesn't make a lot of sense as they're very different beasts, but what the hell, probably happier with the MXR tbh... What you got? I got cash dollars... Need it ASAP, first rehearsal this weekend... Eek!
Also need a stage tuner, happy to swap my Boss TU-12 for the Boss TU-3 if anyone's up for that...
