Just finished watching Gummo. Can't really attempt to describe it, but if you like John Waters' films and Happiness by Todd Solonz then i'd recommend it. Some truly gruesome moments
I saw it in the preview showings. So many people told me they wouldn't be going to see it because of that, as if somehow the whole film was going to be him slowly yet graphically amputating his own arm. What did you think of the whole film? I thought if you already knew the premise of the film (guy goes out alone, gets arm trapped, ends up amputating own arm) it didn't really get any better than that. Although Franco was quite good in it. And it was good to see the real Ralston at the end.
