After years of ocassional fumbling ive recently managed to give my music-apathy a big fuck you, and have actually started to learn to play properly.
Been knuckling down with bluegrass/flatpicking rag type stuff and have been amazed at the wonderful music I can coax out of these wooden boxes.
So I decided to treat myself to a better guitar. Spotted a second-hand Johnson J027 at hobgoblin website so popped in and bought it, managing to knock off an extra £10 too.
So got this:
For £140, which is pretty fab for what is a very good imitation of a Martin 000 guitar, with rosewood back & sides and spruce, plus nice details like semi-V neck. It sells for around £399 / $899 new so am feeling fairly chuffed.
