I should clarify that my pal Wig was looking for an adhoc shim for a seatpost problem. Not an adhoc crackpipe or anything. And guess what we eneded up fixing the post with? My superduper magic rubber tape (some will remember me banging on about that on the train).

I didn't hear a squeak out of my mudguard for the entire ride. I did here some squeaks on the ascents, but I think that was my knees...
