  • As some of you know I bought nuknow's Panasonic frame and am going to start building it up over the winter so looking for NJS parts.

    Thanks.

  • I have some NSJ iron that you could use if you find some NJS carbon to make some NJS steel that you can forge into some NJS components. £250 per gram.

I am. All I need are cranks and a saddle.

  • @OP - which parts do you need? Everything? Or.......

It's not about that though, it's about trying to find parts that suit the bike. If you have a beautiful NJS track frame, it makes sense to fit it with inkeeping parts. If Mr ok put his beautiful NKS track frame in current projects with risers and a load of ill matched parts I'm sure he'd get some stick for it straight away.

The NJS stamp may attract hipster tax, but all the more reason for asking for some reasonably priced stuff. As bodieanddoyle says it would be good to have some more info on what he actually wants but it's not fair to assume he's some clueless hipster just because he bought nuno's frame.

  • I am not married to the idea, doesn't necessarily have to be NJS but am trying to keep the build all Japanese parts.

Bodieanddoyle need basically everything except the frame, a saddle, straps and possibly cranks as already have some Shimano cranks lying around.

  • Ah - I have a Pearl Stem if you're interested. I think it's 110mm - I'll check when I get home.

  • Bodie I have a FiveGold saddle you can haz. It's a bit s cuffed though but you might be able to sort it out.

I still have this Nitto seatpost that I posted for sale. No interest at the price it was up for (half retail, but maybe still too high?) so I was just holding on to it. If you're interested let me know, can knock it down to £50 + whatever standard recorded postage would be, prob around 3 quid.

Not sure what the sales etiquette is... but if you want it I'd also be happy to donate a fiver of sale to the forum too, since I'm new and infrequent posting here.

  • Any interest in a dura ace to campag Montreal (similar to open pro) wheel set?

    Pics/other details?

  • okwithmydecay, glad to see you're doing it ;)
Bare in mind the rear spacing is 110mm tho', when buying hubs/wheels.
I will see if there's anything I can find here, that would suit you.

  • Ive got a Kashimax Aero, silver, got a couple of tears at the back but could easily be recovered. I'd do it myself except I'll never use it.

  • Hi there,

Dura-ace 32hole hf hubs to silver campagnolo montreals with braking surface. Looking for £200 odd.

But... not too keen on the posting malarkey, not sure how much hassle with wheels...

    Pics/other details?

  • 110mm spacing??

  • NJS are only 36H. Bit pedantic, but he asked for NJS.

  • Get some Suzue Pro Max CF hubs. Rare as hens teeth but so so nice.

  • true, but thought i'd put it out there. But the 110 spacing is a different matter...

  • 110mm spacing??

    Yes. 110mm. Problem?

    ;P

  • Get some Suzue Pro Max CF hubs. Rare as hens teeth but so so nice.

Pro Max CF (Carbon Fibre) and Pro Max SB (Sealed Bearings) weren't NJS. Only the alloy, loose-ball Pro Max hubs were NJS (and as said above, only in 36h versions).

Apparently you can get 36h Dura Ace HB-7600s that don't have a stamp on them. Mine are both stamped. There's a similar case with the Dura Ace FC-7600 cranks. This is something to watch out for if you must have the stamps.

  • I have a Japanese spec Dura Ace Headset (NIB) and a Nitto Jaguar Seatpost 30mm rails (with deep insertion marks, but serviceable).

    PM me for details.

  • How about track supermarket ?
    IN Japan but they ship

I've never bought anything from there but it might be a good benchmark for prices on certain things..
