Is it just me, or do all these shoes look goofier and uglier the more expensive/high quality/bespoke they get?
The shapes of OTP low-mid price shoes look way better, more stylish, less bulky and more refined.
Some people like thin, soft "modern" shoe styles. They have their place, but truly quality leather shoes have a weight and sturdiness that cannot at the same time be soft and slim. I find such shoes to be rather effeminate, and to he honest, a good strong shoe, made by an artisan, appeals to me.
Different strokes, different folks. But the younger one is, the less likely one would appreciate such old fashioned style and quality.
