This is the bike I'm refurb'ing for the girlfriend. She wants a roadbike with gears, that she can use for commuting/riding for fun, and I don't have pots of money, so I managed to pick this up cheap, and 'tart it up' a little bit:
Need to sort out the angle of the fade on the top tube, but other than that, the paint looks okay in the flesh. The purple is a pearlescent, sparkly job, and looks kind of cool, in sunlight.
I've got some new wheels, which I'm building up for her, and a new chain/cassette. Should be alright for what she needs, and all on a much tighter budget than I'm used to building bikes on!
If I were you I would keep the angle the same and just move the fade up so it's about half way down the tube, same as the top tube, but looks like it will be a nice job...
