My friend is interested in selling her single speed conversion and has asked me for some advice on price, but as it was built by her father a few years ago in France, I'm a bit clueless as to parts/value and was hoping you guys would be more knowledgable.
The frame is an old blue racer seemingly built by D Lenté - I have no date - around 55cm bottom bracket to top tube. It was converted into a singlespeed with new parts. I only had five minutes with the bike earlier and from what I remember/noted down:
Unidentifiable rims with Sachs-Maillard hubs
Mafac Competition brake set with Shimano V-brake levers model BL-M420
Shimano Dura-Ace seat post
Gipiemme Dual Sprint pedals
Shimano cranks
Planet X derailleur
Old Brooks saddle, pretty beautiful.I have attached a few pictures (the old frame is a bit rusted from what I could see but there's no dents/bends anywhere to compromise it's strength). Any information on the frame or individual parts (from the very limited information I gave) would be great, and ideally she'd like a figure to try and sell for. Its a good runner - a bit big for me - it got me to Brighton and back with ease.
The photographs are my friend's, but I am able to take more detailed/specific part pictures and collect more information if needed.

She doesn't even need to put a chain tensioner on that bike at all.
I'd says £100, £120 top, it look like a decent little beater despite the lack of cable attached to the back brake (Mafac brakes are really good).

I would recon a bit more than that, pretty frame, good geo and doesn't look factory made. The brooks is worth a pretty Penny too. £170-200

Apparently someone borrowed the saddle and didn't reattach the back brake - I'm going round today to fix it and to go out for a ride to check everything works well. Thanks for the info. Any other input would be great but she'll be pretty happy with the above.

That's such a clear and detailed picture you've took, obviously it won't take long for someone to figure out what kind of headset it is.

I think that it is not a prototype because even used it still has there under the price tag.
Maybe it is the previous model referred in that website. -

So looks like that it is a Selle San Marco 210 Aero C saddle.
The only information that I found until now is here (small picture in the end of page):

i've got a pretty old frame 27inch has alpine stickers on it anyone heard of it??

62 ish on seat tube but only 57 on top - all chrome (cleanunuder a little grease - very nice ), only droputs - campag give any clue.
was due to be track bike as the numbers added up but .....
strange looking - long headtube makes a big frame look super huge - i've found why - 700c won't fit - made for 650 or even 24" but BB to low for track anyway . drilled fork but still has circular cross section blades on fork. i've not fitted correct size front wheel so not that sure but i think it has quite shallow angles for track too - i'm assuming a slightly dropping top tube.
make?
desirable?
value?
use? was it for track riding - (a less severe track than manchester? ) -

thats such an interesting frame you got there, what size is the rear clearance for? 650s as well?
maybe its a 650-700 that is not a lo-pro?? maybe that brings the BB height up a bit as well?
A friend of mine is selling 8 complete bikes just like that one, if you're interested let me know.
