Shouted out by 3 lads outside HH - One of the guys I recognized works (as messenger) for a graphics company up near Piccadilly.

Didn't want to break my stride - So was unable to comply with there request.

I cannot tell you how much I want this bike in the snow. Look HOW AWESOME IT IS.

haha, i see that bike quite a bit. the rider always seems happy. IT IS BECAUSE HE OWNS THAT BIKE.

^ i've seen and told the rider how cool i think his bike is before, he's often around whalley range.

Spotted xmas day, green/grey raleigh conversion at chorlton water park, i said a shy anonymous hello and mumbled a bit then went back to duck feeding while you were waiting for other riders, one of whom did a great 180 skid on arrival... Hope you had a good rest of ride.

3 days ago, monsieur lantern rouge, mpg paul and myself yelling "do a skid" to darwin...

we were ignored.

this led us to believe darwin cant skid.

I can skid every colour of the rainbow my friend ; )

But being shouted to perform such a task – make me feel a little uneasy. So I thought I best thing to do was to power thru & get on with my life : )

Next time I will try to overcome my fear of authority & comply ; )

if someone says do a skid, you do a skid! otherwise your damaging the indignity of the do a skid system

How much do you guys charge for wheel builds ? ( for a pair )

Will the builder include spokes / if so can I specify ?

@ darwin: guy rankin is building wheels most weekends at harryhalls.

£30 for a wheelset

excluding spokes. he normally uses dt double butted stainless. silver. he doesnt build with black spokes as, in his experience the coating makes the spokes a little brittle. he builds for longevity, not fashion :)

what hubs/rims/lacing?

i cant express how good a builder guy is...
