Motorcycle and Scooter appreciation

IMO they won't protect you for shite....aside from stretching, heating and tearing flesh, kevlar's abrasion resistance is marginal on it's own. My chum had a set of Furygan 'kevlars' which he thoroughly shredded (and himself) in a 50mph off at the end of the straight at Snet. I've lobbed it on the road in straight denim at the same speed and not been as badly scraped up.
