I've been treading water for about a year now, since leaving the civil service where I was responsible for telling fishermen to piss off.
This job, the one I'm in, provides a salary and training opportunities (stats etc). The role that's advertised would be similar, but I think busier. I'm going out of my mind with boredom here, I'm unsupervised. However, I've just found what I think might be another much more exciting role, for more cash, supporting a Director of a very large School and would be part of the executive team.
I'm not sure what my long term goals are apart from:
more money, more interesting work, new challenges.
