Thanks for that Jonny - it reminds me of the time I described to an ornithologically-inclined colleague some weird birds I had seen at about 3.30am flying among the trees by a gravel pit in darkest Buckinghamshire as I was riding from Oxford to London back in June. "This morning you saw nightjars", I was told.
I'll know what to shout next time. I came up Asylum Road today, reminded by having read yesterday a law report about a couple (Mr & Mrs Ogilvie) who were retired innkeepers and were trying to avoid being evicted from the very fine Asylum for Decayed Licensed Victuallers down there.
