So far we only know the the dates...

the deal is that cophenhagen is hosting the world championship for road racing bikes that date. so there is gonna be a lot of bike things going on, and the city is gonna be closed for cars that whole week. And we are asked to throw a big ass bikepolo tournament

We have some great bike pole courts so there gonna be loads of room for throw in games during that week.
so be patient, and we throw you som more info soon about /registation/tournaments courts/housing/beer/women...

Rumour is the Worlds will be the 1st or 2nd week of September. Probably going to do the London Open a couple of weeks before then (mid August).

Jono would it not make more sense to have the London Open 2011 a bit earlier in the summer. Like early July or so. It would be closer to the peak of summer (june 21st), hence longer hours of daylight. It means that the tourney wouldnt be so reliant on floodlights.

But yes four courts would be good.

I found a (single) court very near to Newington Gardens, I'll post up pics of it when I have a chance. Its not the sloped edges one with the 'viewing deck' that Adam showed us before.

Depends when the EHBPCs are, we need to wait and see.

So (as I'm in Copenhagen at the moment) I'm starting to think about this. Does anyone from London, or the UK, want to make a team for this? I would really like to.

I'm going to be playing with the CPH guys later this week.

Copenhagen's usual court (not what they are using for the tournament). It's in a really nice location in a park, and even comes with goals.
