I work in an office environment and am supposed to wear a suit every day. In this instance, the old adage "buy cheap, buy twice" does not apply. Pure wool suits crumble under the daily strain of office chair to coffee machine and back. Until recently, I had 4 pristine suit coats in my wardrobe and no trousers as the arse had fallen out of all of them. I always buy 2 pairs of trousers with each suit too.
I now buy trousers only as I never wear the jacket. Bike to and from work and rarely see clients.
1 nice black suit in the wardrobe in case someone dies.
