    Buying suits from M&S isn't. They are awful, you can spot them a mile off, they look horrid, and are the sole preserve of middle aged middle management who either go shopping with their wives and do as they're told, or just let their wives buy their clothes. And they wear them with Clarks shoes and shitty ties. Awful.

    Spend the same money in the sale in Hackett, Austen Reed, John Lewis, Aquscutum, Ede and Ravenscroftm, or similar, and get a vastly superior item.

    Are they that bad? Could you really tell the difference? Will a ton really buy you something from the über labels you list? Thankfully I'm of a slightly stronger mind to not throw away my Clarks or my M&S suit (or is this my 'Blue Nun' moment?) cos I felt it looked pretty good and helped me get a good yenz....And no I didn't pull her in the Wimpy!
    If the £100 doesn't come even close to the labels mentioned the comment potentially sends this thread up it's own arse. I know its all opinions (and ultra sage advise) but...
