I wonder what's going on - I think there's something in the air. Threads like this and the proper leather shoes one have made me reappraise my wardrobe, and attitude. I've got too many clothes, but wear the same bits time and again. There's a strong current towards a sharp look for this year on the forum (duck, here comes a trend), but I'd like to think it's a shunning of mass produced tat and a return to skill and craft.
Maybe some sort of well needed cultural shift is under-way. I'm even dumping the beard. I've always loved clothes, my old man was a tailor and a sharp Northern soul-boy in the 60s so an appreciation of style runs in the family; I'm excited by the prospect of freshening up, shedding my skin.

Or maybe I think too much.
