Oh no, turning into a nodder. Wanted to get some kind of utility bike with a rack and internal gears.
But then I saw this on offer at chainreactioncycles:
Insane low price for the components it has. Not perfect due to lack of horizontal dropouts or EBB but I can live with that.
So my project of building up a nice bike slowly from components has been reduced to "add to cart"
That look like a good choice, the fact it have a double chainring as well as the internal hubs give you a good range.
my red bike is also my utlilty bike, with alfine 11, disc brake, MTB geo, alu mudguard, EBB, mount for trailer, strong rear rack etc.
Check out Velorution and Bikefix for more choice (especially bikefix who tend to focus more on utility/commuter bike).
