Ooooh, had a killer-v (small beast of the east actually - same frame though), got it stolen. For me they rank right up there as one of the best hardtails of that era 1993-99. Totally lush and not particularly over engineered. Miss that bike. Killer v's along with zaskars were definately fore runners to all the jump bikes you get now.
The one above is quite rare having an 1" 1/8th steerer too (a proper killer-v if I'm not mistaken?). I'm trying to work out if it started out life polished too - I think so? Defo porn even with spinergy's and slick tread. I always thought spinergy's were awesome when they came out (nearly as cool as tioga discs), didn't actually hear about many breaking, although that was a time before internet.
