also ruined by those chainring bolts. Can anyone explain the right angle cranks to me?
It reduces the chance of pedal strike - Perfect for fixies! Would have thought there would have been a resurgence in them by now...
it avoids the dead-spot (cranks vertical).....well it's supposed to.....and some people still believe it does!
But they behave in exactly the same manner as a standard crank which has the same equivilant length except it's heavier and has increased stress concentrations as a result of the L-shape. If they actually worked you'd see them in use today.
