Getting the riders closer together in the team pursuit was considered advantageous. The small wheels take about 10% off the distance from one rider to the next.

But in all serious, that bmx is lush, it reminds me of mine quite a lot, similar angles and such. Just looking at that bike makes me wish i took better care of mine... must stick it in readers wives though as i still think it looks fit as fuck.
