Rest of England team for Greif Masters 2011

Cheers for picking me Cap', I vote we go by train. Road trip would be fun but our problem with the van after we gave it back in Berlin has made me a little apprehensive of hiring again. I do like what Types suggests though, what about that mega van they have down in Cambridge?

I'm tight and have time on my hands - great combination for over-analysis.

Train means a 12hr+ trip (from Brum) and probably a Thursday off work, if I've worked it out right. It gets difficult because you have to get to London early in the morning and trains either don't run or are too expensive.

^Go down the night before, stay with a mate/ROE team mate (spoon if need be), then get a really early train?
London midland and chiltern both do a super off peak ticket for £18ish

Sounds awesome - my decision is further complicated by the fact that my missus is now going down to London on the Thursday night, so I could go with her, stay with friends and then get Eurostar.

I applied because I really enjoyed Greif Masters last year, and wanted to play this year although I didn't get picked in the french team (I played reaalllly badly at the BFF paris Bench minor).

Re: my "englishness", well clearly I'm not a british citizen, but I do still have a UK mobile phone number, a London address, a UK bank account and a fondness for pints and The Guardian.
