  • If you flip your wheel as well you don't need long drop outs.

    For example 32x13 (close to 70gi) is almost exactly the same amount of chain as 24x19... Admittedly the latter ratio is probably too spinny for polo, 24x17 is more realistic, and you wouldn't need that big a drop out for 2teeth difference. If you could go for a 26 instead of 24 it would prob be even better.

    I used to run 42x16 and 36x26... But stopped after chainsawing dt's leg.

    (nb, just using number of teeth is a simplification, but like Most simplifications, works in real life)
