I think that we are witnessing the failure of Republicanism in this country. We cannot unite on a single purpose - getting rid of the monarch - but have to squabble about what comes next.
All I really want by this ride is to avoid all the bs concerning the "royal" wedding and headoff on my bike for the whole day. A theme which lights upon a number of historical moments negati9vely affecting monarchy would be good as would a homage to great thinkers who have inspired people to consider the ludicrous nature of monarchy.
Perhaps I should be a little autoocratic?
