the guy that got run over ended up with very serious injuries, from what i read when it first appeared on teh net.
-
• #8203
Awefully stupid thing for him to do then wasn't it
-
• #8204
Agreed. I may have gotten out of my car to remonstrate with him, what with him criminally damaging my property. Rather that, than running over the top of him, to his severe injury. Fail either way.

Problem solving at its best in Big Rock climbing Milton Keynes last night. Probably deserves to be here, although It's a win in my eyes, since i funkin hate Dyson!

What's to hate about Dyson?
-
• #8211
They're the Apple of domestic appliances.
-

Ha!

• #8213
They should make a white Dyson.

I appreciate Dyson design and their industrial feel, but it was all rammed down our throats at uni. My lecturer would always bang on about how they're cutting edge! Couldn't see how that was accurate myself, since they ripped off the air blade from the Mitsubishi Jet Towel and their Air Multiplier is apparently ripped too. IMO, it's all smoke and mirrors with some awesome marketing.

Nope. I have one of their hoovers (not) and it's by far the best for the job I've ever had. And their warranty and service is excellent too - I know a couple of people who have had a problem during the 5 years, and Dyson have just sent a bloke out straight away, and just replaced no quibble if not repairable. Rare in this day and age.

I can't dispute their service, i've heard lots of good things about it. I knew someone who had their CR02 (Washing machine). It broke regularly, but was always repaired, if not the same day, the next. In the end, they gave him a brand spanking new one! I've always thought their vacuums are a nice bit on aesthetic and manufacturing design, but there seem to be a few poorly designed aspects that the consumer are expected to just 'deal with it!!'. They also mislead consumers, for example: The Air Multiplier marketing would have you believe that it increases air speed by x15 when it's actually just air volume! Plus, what's up with that wheelbarrow!?

I like mine - everything comes apart simply to get jammed shite and what-not out, empties very efficiently, filters very easy to maintain. Not much more I could really ask for. Conversely, I think it's a munting purple monstrosity, but then I don't really look at it much TBH.
that car one... looks snuffy... hmmm
