    My first attempt at dumplings and they were good!

    I need summer to come so I stop cooking/eating.

    Dumplings in for 2 hours? blimey.
    I always put mine in the stew about 20-30 minutes before eating - better still have cobblers.
    Same as dumplings but when you put them in leave the lid off the stew so they go all brown and crumbly, with a dumpling like underside..soo good.
    Always make sure your stew is bubbling before you put dumplings in (top tip from my mum)
    so they don't disintegrate.
