  • What kind of time do you bastards leave work? I've only just got home and this is early for me.

    Reheating my vegetable overkill soup I made at about midnight last night.

    Needed to get rid of some vegetables that were looking like they were on the way out:

    Some potatoes
    Carrots
    A turnip
    A couple of parsnips
    Some onions
    Shallots
    Runner Beans
    Portobello mushrooms
    some posh streaky bacon
    A couple of cans of chopped tomato
    butter, olive oil, garlic, couple of herbs and spices

    Way too much stuff to be sensible and should really have made a few different kinds but sod it.

    I now have enough soup for every day this week - lunch and dinner (But naturally I'll still get cakes/sandwiches/fat)
